Inside the stall

Mobile India Expo 2027 runs from 23–25 Mar 2027 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. Phone, accessory and consumer electronics brands sell products that are small, valuable and best understood in the hand. A good stall at this show lets visitors pick things up, keeps those things secure, lights them well and gives dealers and distributors a place to talk business.

The ideas below work for stalls of most sizes, from a 3x3 accessory brand to a larger island for a phone maker. They are grouped by what the stall needs to do, followed by the practical checks for building in Bengaluru for a Delhi show. The Mobile India Expo 2027 show page has the key details.

Hands-on is the whole point

Experience tables

A long, low table or island counter with tethered devices lets several visitors try products at once. Set the height for standing use, give each device enough elbow room and build charging into the counter so every unit is always ready. Hide the chargers and cables inside the counter, with only the tether visible.

Try-me zones for accessories

Earbuds, speakers, chargers and smartwatches sell when people can test them. A listening station with a few seats, a charging-speed comparison counter or a wrist-try mirror for wearables turns a product into an experience. Each zone needs power, clear labels and a staff member nearby.

Display small products so they read from the aisle

Small products disappear on a big wall. Visitors walking the aisle need a reason to stop before they can see the details. Use scale and repetition: a large hero image or an oversized model of the product at height, then the real products lower down at eye level.

  • Accessory walls with pegs or slat panels hold many SKUs neatly, grouped by category or colour.
  • Lit shelves or showcases give premium products a proper frame.
  • Colour-block the wall by product family, so a visitor can find cases, chargers or audio at a glance.
  • Keep price and spec cards short and identical in layout, so they are easy to compare.
  • Use backlit graphics for product images. They stay bright under hall lighting where printed panels look dull.

Lighting glossy products and screens

Phones, tablets and watches have glossy glass faces that reflect every spotlight above them. Light display tables from an angle rather than straight down, and use diffused fittings over hands-on counters so visitors can read the screens. Inside showcases, a slim LED strip along the top front edge lights the product without bouncing glare into the visitor's eyes.

Set display devices to a bright, steady demo mode and switch off auto-lock. A dark screen on a display table looks like a broken product, and staff will not always notice in a busy hour.

Security and stock

Phones and electronics walk away at shows. Plan security into the design rather than adding it later.

  1. Use security tethers on every hands-on device.
  2. Keep high-value display units in lockable showcases.
  3. Build a lockable storage room or cupboard for boxed stock, spare devices and chargers.
  4. Assign one person per shift to count display devices at opening and closing.
  5. Check the organiser's rules on overnight security, and whether devices should be removed from the stall at the end of each day.

Dealers, distributors and buyers

For many accessory and electronics brands, the real business at this show is with retailers, distributors and online sellers. They want to see margins, packaging, display units for their stores and supply terms. A meeting table or two at the back of the stall, slightly away from the noisy hands-on area, keeps these conversations focused.

If you supply in-store display units to retailers, put one on the stall. It shows dealers what they would get and doubles as product display. Keep catalogues, price lists and a simple lead form ready at the meeting area, so details are captured during the conversation.

Launch moments and content corners

If you plan to launch a product at the show, design the stall around the reveal: a small stage or a cleared area, a backdrop for photos, a screen and good front lighting. A scheduled launch time, shown on the stall, draws a crowd at the right moment.

A simple, well-lit photo spot with your brand behind it also helps visitors and creators share the stall online. Light it from the front with soft light, keep the backdrop uncluttered and make sure the brand reads clearly in a phone camera frame.

Building for New Delhi from Bengaluru

Our factory is in Bengaluru, so for New Delhi we ask for the brief 6–8 weeks ahead, which means January for a late-March show. Every stall is fully dry-assembled in our factory, including the charging and lighting circuits, then trucked to the venue and installed by our own crew.

The Bharat Mandapam venue guide covers planning notes for the venue, and our page on stalls in New Delhi explains how we work in the city. Confirm build-up timings, power ordering deadlines and height limits in the exhibitor manual. This show runs alongside Convergence India 2027 on the same dates and at the same venue, so check hall locations with the organiser.
