India Expo Mart Greater Noida: Stall Planning for Machinery Shows
Planning a machinery stall at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida: working around machine move-in, what to confirm about the hall, long shows and long-haul builds.

India Expo Mart in Greater Noida hosts some of the country's largest machinery shows, where exhibitors bring full working lines, not just samples. At those shows the stall is part of a bigger operation: machines arriving from plants or from overseas, installation engineers, commissioning and a long show run. A good plan builds the stall around that operation.
Here is how we approach machinery stalls at India Expo Mart, building from our Bengaluru factory, and the questions that need answers before the first drawing.
Plan around the machinery schedule
On a big machinery show, the machine timeline drives everything. Heavy exhibits may have their own move-in window before stall build-up, and they need placing, levelling and commissioning by your engineers or your principal's team.
- Get the organiser's move-in schedule for heavy exhibits, and check whether it is separate from the stall build-up schedule.
- Share machine footprints, weights, heights and service points with your fabricator before design starts.
- Agree who places each machine and who is responsible for the floor around it.
- Plan the platform around machines already in place, with cut-outs and ramps where needed.
- Confirm when power and compressed air will be available for commissioning.
If your machines come from an overseas principal, their technicians may have fixed travel dates. Lock those dates first and build the stall schedule around them, not the other way round.
What to confirm about the hall
Large venues have halls with different characteristics, and each show sets its own rules. We confirm these for every show rather than assuming.
- Floor load limits, and whether heavy machines need base plates or spreaders.
- Access doors and routes from the unloading area to your plot, for machines and for stall crates.
- Crane and forklift availability, how to book them and how they are charged.
- Build height, rigging permissions and whether overhead branding can be hung.
- Power: industrial connections for machines, a separate lighting supply and the ordering deadline.
- Compressed air, water and drainage availability.
- Build-up and dismantle hours, and the rules for moving machines out after the show.
Design for a big hall and a long show
In a large hall full of machines, a stall can disappear. Height and clear branding matter, within what the organiser allows, and so does comfort for a team that will be on the stand for many days.
- Use a tall fascia, logo tower or hanging banner where permitted, so visitors can find you from across the hall.
- Keep machines visible from the aisle. Walls should frame them, not hide them.
- Create a separated meeting area with seating, since buyer discussions at these shows can run long.
- Add a small pantry and closed storage; staff need water, tea and somewhere to keep bags.
- Choose hard-wearing flooring around machines, since carpet near running equipment wears and stains quickly.
India ITME 2026 runs 4–9 December 2026 at India Expo Mart. A six-day show is hard on both the stall and the team. Plan daily cleaning, staff rotations and a short morning check by our crew so the stall looks the same on day six as on day one.
Staffing a six-day machinery show
Long shows wear people out before they wear out the stall. Split the team into shifts, keep at least one technical person on the stand at all times to answer machine questions, and give sales staff a fixed slot each day for meetings away from the noise. Brief everyone on the demo schedule and safety zone, so nobody lets a visitor step past the barrier while a machine is running. A short morning huddle at the stall, covering who is where and which visitors are expected, keeps the six days organised.
Long-haul from Bengaluru
For Delhi NCR we ask for a brief 6–8 weeks ahead. The stall is built and dry-assembled at our factory, with machine footprints marked on the platform, then packed into sections sized for the trucks and the venue's access. Our crew travels with it, so the people who built it are the ones who install it.
- Confirm machine move-in dates first, then set the stall dispatch date from them.
- Dispatch with a buffer for long-distance road transport, including winter fog on northern roads in December.
- Load a spares crate: panels, fixings, matched paint, lamps and drivers.
- Install around the machines, then electrical inspection and power on.
- Hand over to your team with a walk-through before the show opens.
Mistakes we help clients avoid
- Designing walls before machine sizes and service points are confirmed.
- Ordering power for the stall but not the separate supply the machines need.
- Booking crane time late, when the slots you need are already taken.
- Forgetting that machines often leave on a different schedule from the stall, so dismantle has to be planned for both.
- Running the same staff for all six days with no rotation.
Dismantle is where long shows often go wrong. Agree in advance whether the stall comes down first so machines can be lifted out, or whether machines leave first. Then plan the trucks, the crew and the crane booking to match, and leave the plot clean so the deposit is returned without argument.
