India Diagnostic Expo 2026 runs from 18–20 Dec 2026 at HITEX, Hyderabad. Diagnostics and lab brands sell to people who work in clean, controlled spaces: pathologists, lab owners, hospital procurement teams and distributors. Your stall should feel like a place they would trust with a sample. Clean finishes, stable demos, careful claims and a proper place to talk matter more than spectacle.

The stall also has practical jobs that most industries do not have. Analysers need steady power and a level, vibration-free surface. Reagents and consumables must be displayed without breaking any rule on hazardous material. And many conversations involve pricing, tenders and distribution, which need privacy. The India Diagnostic Expo 2026 show page has the key details.

A clinical look that does not feel cold

White and light finishes signal cleanliness, but a stall that is entirely white can look like an empty room under hall lighting. Use white or light grey as the base, bring in your brand colour on the fascia and one feature wall, and add warmth through lighting and a wood or soft-finish meeting area.

  • Choose wipeable surfaces such as laminate or acrylic for counters and demo benches.
  • Avoid matt white paint at hand height, where marks show quickly.
  • Use neutral white light so instruments, screens and sample tubes look as they do in a real lab.
  • Keep graphics clean and spaced, with plenty of empty area around product images.
  • Hide every cable. Loose wires undo the clinical look faster than anything else.

Running analysers and devices on the stall

Benches and power

Benchtop analysers need a solid, level counter at the right working height, with space behind for cables and ventilation. Build demo benches as fixed, braced units rather than loose tables, so a visitor leaning on the counter does not shake the instrument. Ask the equipment team about weight, footprint, clearances and heat output before the bench is designed.

Plan the power order with every instrument, screen and light listed, and consider a UPS for each running analyser so a short power dip does not interrupt a demo or force a long restart. Check the exhibitor manual for the power ordering deadline and the load categories available.

Point-of-care and handheld devices

Small devices need a different display. A low counter with tethered units lets visitors pick them up safely. A screen beside each device can show a short loop of the test steps, so a visitor understands the workflow without waiting for a demonstrator.

Reagents, samples and what you can display

Reagent kits, cartridges and consumables are often a large part of the business, even if the analyser gets the attention. Display them on lit shelves or in a showcase with clear labels. Where possible, use dummy packs or empty kits for display rather than live reagents.

Read the exhibitor manual and check with the organiser on any rules for chemicals, biological material or sharps on the stall. If a demo needs real samples or reagents, confirm what is permitted and how waste must be handled before you plan the demo.

Careful claims on graphics

Diagnostics is a regulated field, and the claims on your stall graphics should match what your regulatory and medical teams have approved. Ask them to sign off the final artwork, not just the headline. A stall designer can make claims look good, but cannot decide which claims you are allowed to make.

  1. Collect approved product descriptions, test menus and performance statements from your regulatory team.
  2. Write graphics using only that approved wording.
  3. Send the final artwork back for sign-off before printing.
  4. Keep supporting documents on hand at the stall for visitors who ask.

Space for labs, hospitals and distributors

A lab owner comparing analysers, a hospital buyer with a tender in mind and a distributor exploring a new territory all want to sit down. Plan at least one table in a quieter corner, and on a larger stall a closed meeting room with a screen. Distributor meetings in particular involve pricing and territory discussions that nobody wants overheard.

Add lockable storage for brochures, sample packs, laptops and staff bags. A small refreshment counter helps when meetings run long, but keep food and drink away from instruments.

Timeline for a Hyderabad show

Our factory is in Bengaluru, so for Hyderabad we ask for the brief 4–6 weeks before the show. That allows for design, artwork approvals from your regulatory team, organiser submission, fabrication and a full dry-assembly in our factory before the stall is trucked to HITEX and installed by our crew.

Our HITEX venue guide covers planning notes for the venue. Confirm build-up timings, height limits and power deadlines in the exhibitor manual. See our page on exhibition stalls in Hyderabad for local builds, and the Hyderabad location page for how we work in the city.

Mistakes to avoid

  • Analysers placed on loose tables that shake when someone leans on them.
  • Running demos with no backup power, so a short dip means a long restart.
  • Graphics written by marketing alone, with claims the regulatory team has not approved.
  • Live reagents or samples on display without checking the organiser's rules.
  • Distributor and pricing conversations held at the front counter, in full hearing of the aisle.
  • An all-white stall with flat lighting that looks empty from a distance.
