Exhibiting in Delhi NCR: Bharat Mandapam, Yashobhoomi, Greater Noida
Planning a stall in Delhi NCR: how Bharat Mandapam, Yashobhoomi and India Expo Mart differ, key shows, lead times from Bengaluru and what to check first.

Delhi NCR has three venues that matter most for national trade shows: Bharat Mandapam at Pragati Maidan in central Delhi, Yashobhoomi in Dwarka, and India Expo Mart in Greater Noida. They are far apart, they host different kinds of shows and each one has its own access and build-up arrangements. Your stall plan should start with which of the three you are going to.
For a stall built in our Bengaluru factory, Delhi NCR is one of the longest runs we make. We ask for a brief 6 to 8 weeks ahead, design the stall to travel well, dry-assemble it in the factory and send our own crew with it to install and stay through the show.
The three main venues
Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan
Bharat Mandapam hosts large national fairs and technology shows. IITF 2026 runs here from 14 to 27 November 2026, and Convergence India 2027 and Mobile India Expo 2027 run from 23 to 25 March 2027. IITF is unusually long, so stalls need to stand up to two weeks of heavy footfall, and staffing plans need shifts.
Yashobhoomi, Dwarka
Yashobhoomi is one of the country's newer convention and exhibition centres, used for conferences and trade shows. Because it is newer, practices and rules may still be evolving. Read the latest exhibitor manual for your show rather than relying on what another exhibitor experienced earlier.
India Expo Mart, Greater Noida
India Expo Mart hosts many large industrial and machinery shows. India ITME 2026, for textile machinery, runs here from 4 to 9 December 2026. Shows here often involve heavy machines, big islands and complex build-ups.
What to confirm before design
Rules differ between the three venues and between shows at the same venue. The organiser's exhibitor manual is the source to check. Look for these points first.
- Hall, stall number, size and open sides.
- Maximum build height, double-decker permissions and rigging rules.
- Design submission requirements, including structural drawings for large or two-storey stalls.
- Power load, supply arrangements and application deadline.
- Vehicle entry passes, gate timings and unloading areas.
- Build-up and dismantling schedule, including any restrictions on night work.
- Material and fire safety rules.
Transport and timing from Bengaluru
The road journey to Delhi NCR is long, and the plan has to allow for delays at state borders, on highways and at the venue gate. We build that buffer in from the start.
- Brief 6 to 8 weeks ahead. Large islands or double-decker stalls need the longer end.
- Lock the design early enough to leave time for organiser approval before fabrication finishes.
- Dry-assemble and sign off the stall in the factory before it is packed.
- Dispatch with a margin for a day or two of delay, especially in winter when weather and traffic can slow trucks.
- Plan crew travel and stay for the full build-up, show and dismantling period.
Long shows and back-to-back events
IITF's two-week run changes how a stall is built and staffed. Finishes take more wear, floors get dirty faster and staff get tired. Plan durable flooring, wipeable surfaces and a back-of-stall area where staff can rest and store stock.
- Use hard-wearing counter tops and floor finishes that are easy to clean daily.
- Plan staff shifts and a daily briefing for the full duration.
- Keep spare graphics, lights and small fittings at the stall for quick repairs.
- Ask our crew to stay on call for maintenance through the show.
Convergence India 2027 and Mobile India Expo 2027 run on the same dates at the same venue. If your company exhibits at both, decide early whether you need two stalls or one shared plan, as it affects design, staffing and budget.
Mistakes to avoid
- Treating the three venues as interchangeable and planning transport for the wrong part of the region.
- Briefing a Bengaluru fabricator too late for a Delhi show.
- Missing vehicle pass deadlines, which can hold trucks outside the gate.
- Using light finishes on a two-week show without plans for cleaning and touch-ups.
- Not planning crew accommodation and travel for the full show period.
Our New Delhi location page lists the areas we cover, and our Greater Noida page covers India Expo Mart shows in more detail.
Designing for national audiences
Delhi NCR shows draw visitors from across the country, including government officials, international delegations and senior buyers. Stalls are often larger and more built than at regional shows, and the competition for attention in the aisles is strong.
- A strong overhead fascia or header helps your stall stand out in large halls, within the height limits the organiser allows.
- Clean, formal finishes suit shows where officials or delegations may visit.
- A meeting room is worth the floor space when you expect senior or international buyers.
- Hindi alongside English on key signage helps at consumer-facing shows like IITF.
- Plan photo-friendly angles, since visits by dignitaries and media are often photographed.
At the same time, do not over-build for the sake of it. A large stall with nothing clear to say still gets walked past. Decide what you want each visitor to see, do and take away, and design the stall around that.
