Convergence India and Mobile India Expo 2027: One Stall or Two?

Exhibiting at Convergence India and Mobile India Expo 2027, same dates and venue? How to choose one stall or two, share one design, reuse parts and plan staff.

Convergence India 2027 and Mobile India Expo 2027 both run from 23–25 Mar 2027 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. Because the dates are the same, you cannot move one stall from the first show to the second. If your company wants to be seen by both audiences, the real choice is between two stalls built from one design plan, or one stall at the show that matters most.

Both options can work. The right one depends on how different your two audiences are, how many people you can put on the floor and whether the stalls will be used again after March. This guide walks through the decision, then explains how to plan two stalls as one project so that design, build and staffing stay manageable.

First, confirm how the two shows are laid out

Before deciding anything, ask the organiser how the two shows are arranged in the venue, and read both exhibitor manuals. The answers decide how practical two stalls really are.

  • Which halls each show occupies, and how long it takes to walk between them.
  • Whether exhibitor and visitor badges cover both shows or only one.
  • Whether build-up and dismantling windows are the same for both.
  • Whether the two shows share one exhibitor manual and one approval process, or have separate ones.
  • Deadlines for design submission, power orders and badges at each show.

Option 1: one stall at one show

If one audience is clearly more important, a single, stronger stall is often the better use of budget and people. A telecom equipment maker whose buyers are operators and enterprises belongs at Convergence India 2027. A phone accessory brand selling to retailers belongs at Mobile India Expo 2027.

You can still reach the other audience. Invite key contacts from the second show to meet at your stall, and send a senior team member to walk the other halls with a clear list of people to meet. One well-staffed stall usually generates more useful conversations than two thinly staffed ones.

Option 2: two stalls from one design plan

If you have two product lines with genuinely different buyers, such as network infrastructure and consumer devices, two stalls let each one speak clearly to its own visitors. The way to keep this manageable is to treat the two stalls as one project with one design system.

What to keep the same

  • Fascia style, brand colours, typefaces and lighting approach, so both stalls are instantly recognisable as one company.
  • Standard components: wall modules, counters, storage units and meeting furniture built to the same sizes.
  • Graphic templates, so artwork for both stalls is prepared together and approved in one round.

What to make different

  • The headline message and product walls, written for each audience.
  • Layout: an infrastructure stall usually needs more meeting space and hardware display; a devices stall needs hands-on tables and secure showcases.
  • Size and stall type, which should follow each audience and budget rather than being identical.

Building two stalls as one project

For our crew, two stalls at one venue on the same dates is a single job with two builds. Both stalls are designed together, fabricated together in our Bengaluru factory and dry-assembled before they ship. They travel on shared transport and are installed by one crew during the same build-up window, with a supervisor on each stall.

  1. January: one brief covering both stalls, both audiences and both stall sizes.
  2. Design: one design system, then two layouts. Revisions happen together.
  3. Approvals: drawings submitted to each show as required by its manual.
  4. Fabrication: shared components built in one batch, with show-specific parts alongside.
  5. Dry-assembly: both stalls stood up in the factory and checked against their drawings.
  6. Build-up and show: one crew, two stalls, with on-call support at both through the show.

Because our factory is in Bengaluru, we ask for the brief 6–8 weeks before a New Delhi show. With two stalls, start at the earlier end of that window.

What changes the cost

Two stalls will always cost more than one, but planning them together keeps the increase in check. Shared design work, shared components built in one batch, shared transport and one crew all help. What pushes cost up is making the two stalls completely different, asking for late changes to one after the other is fixed, or choosing finishes that cannot be reused later. Keep the shared parts truly shared and spend the difference on what each audience needs to see.

Staffing two stalls without burning out the team

Two stalls need two teams on the floor. Sharing one team across halls does not work well, because a stall left unattended for even an hour misses visitors and looks abandoned.

  • Give each stall its own lead, who stays there through the show.
  • Let senior leaders and specialists move between stalls on a fixed schedule, so meetings can be booked around it.
  • Use one lead capture method and one follow-up process across both stalls, so all contacts end up in one place.
  • Hold a short team call at the end of each day to share what each stall heard.

Plan for reuse after March

Two stalls built on one design system are easier to use again. The shared modules can be reconfigured for a later show, a dealer event or a regional exhibition. Ask us about stall reuse when you brief, because components meant for reuse are built and finished differently. Our Bharat Mandapam venue guide covers planning notes for the venue itself.
